A Ministry of Friendship Assembly

Freedom Christian Academy's K3-6th Grade, Pathway Program, and MDO are all ministries of Friendship Assembly

Our Programs

At Freedom Christian Academy, each program is designed with intentional structure, spiritual formation, and academic
excellence in mind. We offer age-appropriate models that support both family partnership and student growth.

K3-6th Grade

Our K3–6th grade program operates Monday - Friday in a structured classroom environment rooted in a biblical worldview. These foundational years are critical for both academic development and character formation.

We utilize the Abeka curriculum, a rigorous, Christ-centered academic program designed to build strong foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and history. Abeka’s structured approach supports academic excellence while reinforcing biblical truth throughout each subject area.

Students receive:

• Christ-centered instruction integrated into daily learning

• Strong foundational academics through the Abeka curriculum

• Structured classroom environments that promote focus and discipline

• Character development and intentional discipleship

• Before and after school care options for families who need extended coverage

We believe the elementary years are a formative season not only for students, but for families as well. Parent involvement is an essential part of our school culture.

Families are encouraged to participate in school events, support classroom initiatives, and remain actively engaged in their child’s academic and spiritual growth. When school and home work together in unity, students thrive.

Freedom Christian Academy is not simply a place students attend — it is a community where families partner together to cultivate excellence, accountability, and faith.

Pathway Program (7th - 12th Grade)

The Pathway Program is designed for students who desire an alternative to traditional public education while maintaining accountability, structure, and spiritual covering.

This program operates Monday-Thursday and includes:

  • In-person instruction from FCA faculty

  • Structure on-campus online coursework

  • Guided independent study time

  • Academic accountability and oversight

  • No school on Fridays

Pathway provides flexibility within a structured environment. Students remain under supervision and mentorship while learning to take ownership of their academic responsibilities.

The Pathway Program is best suited for students who are willing to take initiative in their education. Because of the hybrid-like structure, students will gain as much from the program as they are willing to invest. We believe this model helps prepare students not only for graduation, but for adulthood - teaching time management, responsibility, and personal discipline within a Christ-centered framework.

Parent Involvement plays a significant role in success of the Pathway Program. While students recieve structured instruction and oversight on campus, families are expected to remain engaged in monitoring progress, reinforcing accountability, and supporting academic expectations at home. Pathway works best when school and home operate in alignment, with clear communication and shared responsibility for the student's growth.

As part of our commitment to discipleship, students enrolled in the Pathway Program are expected to be actively involved in a local church. Spiritual formation and biblical character remain central to the pathway experience.

Mother's Day Out (3 months - 2 years)

FCA Mother's Day Out exists to serve families by providing faith-based, part-time childcare in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. We understand that entrusting your baby to someone else is a significant decision. Our goal is to create a space where children are not only cared for, but genuinely loved and supported in their early development.

We strive to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere where babies and toddlers feel safe, comforted, and known.

This program operates Monday-Thursday and includes:

  • In-person instruction from FCA faculty

  • Structure on-campus online coursework

  • Guided independent study time

  • Academic accountability and oversight

  • No school on Fridays

Each age group participates in activities designed to support developmental growth. For our two-year-olds, we incorporate age-appropriate curriculum that encourages:

  • Early language development

  • Foundational learning skills

  • Social interaction

  • Fine and gross motor development

  • Structured play and routin

For infants and younger toddlers, we focus on:

  • Sensory exploration

  • Gentle routine development

  • Social engagement

  • Early communication skills

  • Play-based learning experiences

Mother's Day Out is more than childcare - it is a ministry to families in our community. We aim to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their child is cared for with excellence and compassion.
